Europrobasket and Unigirona (Spanish Woman’s Championship Team and Euroleague Team) are in talks about starting their own Men’s team in Spanish League Competition using players from the academy. This team will be a starting point for players looking to begin their careers in Europe. Tryouts will be held throughout the summer!!
Two of Europrobasket’s European Summer League Players are practicing with EBA Team Salt as they prepare to all play an exhibition game against UAE’s 2015 Championship team AL AHLI!!! Europrobasket will be involved in an International Tournament for men and woman players the weekend following the European Summer League June 12-14. If you decide to extend your stay after the Summer League, you will be part of the Europrobasket team competing in this tournament. Teams from other countries as well as from Spain will be in attendance. It will be located in a beautiful beach town not far from the academy. This town is known for its beautiful beaches and fun summertime atmosphere. Not only will you be participating in games everyday, but there will be organized beach and pool parties to unwind at night. You will be staying with the other teams in beach Bungalows. The players here at Europrobasket have been training hard twice a day with our professional basketball coach from Croatia, Edi Dzelalija. Below are pictures from last nights friendly match against Onyar, a team which we have used to help get players careers started here in Spain. They are very interested in players for next season. A team in the Dominican Republic needs needs a 6’8 or 6’9 power forward. They are asking for a player with a very high level European Experience! An athletic rebounder that can play in the post! Their offer is all expenses paid plus $8,000-$10,000 per month! This is very Urgent and the team needs the player by next week!!!

Europrobasket would like to welcome experienced professional coach Edi Dzelalija to the academy. Coach Dzelalija arrived last night from Croatia to help lead the European Summer League Spain. He has over 20 years of coaching experience, many in First Division Croatian, Bosnian and Slovenian leagues. Coach Dzelalija was also an assistant coach in the men’s senior national team in Croatia as well as being voted the 2nd place Croatian coach of the year in 2012! We are proud to have him a part of our academy and look forward to him helping prepare our guys for the Summer League!

An Italian 4th division team is looking for a Power Forward and a Small Forward/Shooting Guard. This is a serious team looking to make an impact this season! They can offer an Apartment and €400-€500 per month. The player’s need to pay their own meals and flight. The season starts in September and ends in April. The team is very interested in European players born 1995/1996!
