Europrobasket's European Summer League Spain

Europrobasket and European Summer League Player Isao Kinoshita registered and signed with his first European team in his career. Isao, a native Japanese professional player came to the European Summer League Spain in June. He showed he had a high basketball IQ and could run a team well at the PG position. He was asked to come back to the academy in August for a few weeks to follow up with tryouts. After one tryout he reached an agreement with a team near Tarragona, Spain. Congrats to Isao, and good luck with your new team!!

Albert Del Hoyo, Europrobasket and European Summer League Spain player recently signed in Club Basquet Igualada! Albert Del Hoya played last season in Club Basquet VIc, which is in Copa Catalunya (5th Division). This year he moved up to EBA (4th Division) after the European Summer League in Spain where he played exceptional and won an MVP award, and was introduced to Spanish agents. Good luck to Albert in his new team!

We would like to wish Europrobasket and European Summer League Player Matija Rovscek luck in his tryout in Olpe, Germany! Matija came to Europrobasket’s European Summer League in June. He showed the staff here at the academy as well as the agents and scouts in attendance that he was able to compete at a higher level than he was currently playing at in his home country of Slovenia. He showed a great attitude, leadership and hard work ethic throughout the 6 days he was at the Academy camp. Recently the staff at Europrobasket was contacted by a Regionalliga 2 team in Germany for a European Point Guard and Center. With a great recommendation from the coaches and staff here at Europrobasket, Matija was invited to a tryout and will be leaving tomorrow.  This will be Matija’s first time playing professional basketball internationally!! We here at the academy would like to wish him the best of luck!

Congratulations to Europrobasket and European Summer League coach Fayssal Rhennam for signing a contract ,through Europrobasket contacts, in China!! Fayssal attended the academy for a week during the Summer League in June. He did an awesome job with the players and organizing games and workouts. We were very impressed with his overall work ethic and made connections for him through our contacts. We became aware of a few openings in China and offered them to our coaches for the summer league. Fayssal signed his contract the other day, and we are waiting to see if the other coaches accept their offers! Thanks for doing a great job and helping place our academy players!! A German Regionalliga 2 team is looking for a European Passport holding (BOSMAN A) Point Guard and Center. The team can offer €500-€600 per month, apartment, and weight room. Europrobasket would like to welcome experienced Professional Greek coach Antonios Doukas. Antonios has coached and done follow ups and training’s in both Bulgaria (Academic Sofia) and Greece. He has done follow ups and training’s in all different levels in his home country including big teams such as: A.O.A.N B.C,  A.S.SAMOS B.C, ΙΟΝΙΟΣ B.C., Ikaroi  Serres BC and follow up training’s in OLYMPIA LARISSAS and Panionios B.C. Antonios comes to us with many years of experience and will bring a different style of basketball to the players here at the academy. He is going to be here to help the academy players prepare for an international tournament being held in Catalunya the 12th – 14th of June. Thank you coach, and we look forward to working with you!
